NORTHFIELD, MN — In a groundbreaking study, researchers at Carleton College have discovered that the racial demographics of the college’s student body pretty much represent the racial demographics of the parent body. Researcher Susanne Mora said, “It’s really amazing, the things that science can discover these days. If both of a student’s parents are Asian, the student is Asian as well! It’s fascinating how the offspring of a couple matches the parents!” In light of Parents’ Weekend at Carleton, it was remarkable to see that much like the white student body at Carleton, most of the parent body was also white. Mora continued, “We also discovered that the diverse student body population happens to match the demographics of the administration at Carleton.”
