Legacy of Racial Redlining in America Vanishes After Annie’s Pasta Signals Support for BLM

BERKELY, CA—Activists were stunned this weekend when pasta brand Annie’s changed their social media profiles to black and white in support of the Black Live Matters movement, effectively eliminating the legacy of racial redlining in American cities.

“I honestly thought racism and generational inequality was going to be a long process to undo, but now it’s just over,” one scholar expressed. “After Annie’s Mac & Cheese put their weight behind these protests, the racial wealth gap evaporated overnight.”

The General Mill’s brand, previously known for its organic pasta offerings, will now certainly be remembered as the company that ended racism.

In other news, the NAACP announced it would be permanently closing all of its chapters next week, citing the fact that we now live in a post-racial society.
